“Dr. Fogg is great and highly recommend. Understanding, helpful, and knowledgeable; followed through with getting prescription of new med through insurance for my severe chronic sinusitis issues, which I had been struggling to get through some other docs that kept pushing me to do surgery instead even knowing the higher safety risks involved with my heart condition. Even tho Dr Fogg himself is exceptional, the staff at Advocare are difficult and aggravating to deal with at nearly all levels. Refuse to do basic follow up when issues arise, don’t respond promptly to inquiries from pharmacy, and get testy when you try to get them to do their jobs after days or weeks of non-responsiveness from pharmacy and other clinics. Front desk receptionist is a young, immature recent college grad that is rude, brusque, and entitled. Management needs to seriously look into this since I doubt I’m the only one that ran into these problems.”

About Dr. Matthew Fogg
Dr. Matthew Fogg is a board certified pediatric and adult Allergist and Immunologist practicing in our Center City Philadelphia office. He is a graduate of Williams College where he received his BA, and NYU School of Medicine where he completed both an MD as well as a Master's degree in Medical Ethics and Health Care Policy. He completed Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He has published multiple papers in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Fogg is passionate about providing world class care to his patients. He has expertise in food allergy, asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, venom and drug allergy. He is an expert in the use of both subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy for the treatment of allergic disease. He also has expertise in the use of biologics for asthma, urticaria and atopic dermatitis. He is not accepting new mast cell patients at this time.
His practice philosophy is to understand each patient and to work with the patient to figure out how to help each patient live their best life, free of symptoms or their allergic and immunologic diseases. He believes strongly in educating patients and giving them the tools to manage their own disease so that they feel more in control. He has received many "Best of Philly" awards from Philadelphia Magazine as well as several "Love Awards" as best allergist from Philadelphia Family Magazine.

I made appointment same day. Time and location was convenient. Service was great! Doctor was attentive, requested test right away and took the initiative to do additional check up an another illness he saw on my profile even though that was not the reason of my visit . He was concerned about my issues and referred me to his colleague for further evaluation. He even walked me to next office.

The doctor was great, however I was never given instructions to discontinue my medication prior to the appointment so I had to go back twice which was quite inconvenient. The nurse who helped with my testing was phenomenal!

Dr Fogg took the time to listen to my concerns and explain what my conditions were, he detailed my treatment plan clearly.
The nurse who administered the allergy testing was also good at explaining the procedure and making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I highly recommend this doctor and practice!
