About Dr. Matthew Paoli
Dr. Matthew Paoli is board certified in family medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Delaware before earning his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at Christiana Care in Delaware. After residency, he practiced family medicine in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia as part of the Jefferson-Einstein Health System. As the lead physician at that practice, he worked to improve quality care delivery and enhanced the patient experience through evidence-based programs. His clinical practice continues to emphasize preventative care, but he is skilled in providing effective long-term chronic care management.
In his spare time, Dr. Paoli enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 children.

I appreciated the staff's timeliness. They were quick and efficient; I barely sat down and I was being called back to be seen, even though I was early for my appointment! Dr Paoli did a great job of advising and guiding me to decisions about my care.

I fasted and to have my blood work done, I was an hour early, was seen by a nurse after my appointment and then probably another 30 mins later the doctor. Was told it was too late to do my blood work, I needed an EKG and the person giving it to me didn't know how to use the machine, I was suppose to get the result to send to another doctor I have but they did not upload them or send them. Then the doctor came back in and said 'you had enough doctoring today' and sent me on my way. No lung check, no throat touched, nothing I basically just repeated what I filled out my forms. Then they gave me paper work to go get my blood at a lab corp even when I asked if I could just come early in the morning so I didn't have to make an appointment. Then took forever at checking out and when I got home I looked at the paper work they gave me someone else's files with their medical records. I called to tell them an the person I spoke to was very rude and acted like it was no big deal.

Dr. Paoili has great bedside manner and truly listens to concerns. He didn't judge and made me feel emotionally better about my situation along with physically better. Will continue to see him as my primary for as long as I can.
