About Dr. Maty Youngewirth

Dr. Maty Youngewirth earned her BS from Brooklyn College in 1996 where she graduated suma cum laude and was chosen to participate in the Phi Beta Kappa society and Golden Key National Honor Society. She then went on to study at SUNY Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000. Before graduating she completed an externship in both pediatrics and vision therapy as well as in ocular disease. She has been practicing Optometry full time since graduation in various practice settings including private practice as well as long term care facilities. Her vision as an Optometrist is to provide the highest level of eye care with the most amount of compassion and patience as possible. For now, her free time is occupied by being a mom to her 3 children but she does find time to stay active and healthy by exercising daily. She speaks several languages including Spanish and Hebrew.

Maty is super professional, smart and attentive. I did not have to wait at all, all the formalities were dealt with efficiently and courteously. But the most important thing is that she pays great attention to patient's needs and concerns and helps to address them in the best way possible. Outstanding doctor.
