“Dr Pierce was with me for all 3 of my pregnancies. She delivered my second baby. I had a great experience with her for the first 2 pregnancies. For the third pregnancy I was unable to get appointments with her during the particular weeks I needed them. When I went for my 16 week appointment, I was 18 weeks pregnant. Dr Pierce had to give me the terribly horrible news that there was no heartbeat. She told me it could be worse, it could have happened later. She never followed up with me to check if I was ok, or had any questions, or to check how the surgery went. I was very disappointed since she was the only doctor I saw with all 3 of my pregnancies. I was not a new patient, I was an established patient who has been with her for over 6 years and multiple pregnancies. This was the worst day and experience of my life, and she never followed up. Prior to the pregnancy loss, Dr Pierce was great about getting me in for a last minute ultrasound at 14 weeks and getting me in to a cardiologist. For the pregnancy loss procedures and surgery I worked with the optum OB team in Poughkeepsie and Vassar hospital. They were wonderful.”
