“Melissa was great! I really enjoyed her! She took time to explain everything. It was so nice to go to a doctor that seem interested. Not the usual what’s your problem, do this, goodbye! The staff was also very friendly. I would highly recommend Eye Associates of Alexandria!”

Melissa Hoven, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University and her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has always wanted to be in the healthcare industry and felt optometry was the perfect fit. Dr. Hoven enjoys the variety each day brings when working with patients. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys traveling.

Dr. Hoven is very professional yet so kind and personable. She takes the time to really listen to my concerns and explain the best options. The facility is very comfortable and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Can’t think of anything I would change at this time.

Your service is top notch and so professional. Every area is run smoothly. Terrific and friendly check in. Also, I like how one person provides service right up until you see the Dr. Dr. Melissa you are wonderful and I appreciate your personal interaction and that I never feel rushed and any question of mine is answered. I liked how another person took me to the front after my appointment the great service upon checking out and then the prompt friendly eye glass specialist. From start to finish an extraordinary visit.
