“Visit was professional, spot on regarding desk interaction along with doctors evaluation. The only issue, poor eye frame selections. They appear dated and/or old school without pizzazz or class. Children’s frames had better choices. ”

About Dr. Michael Aguilera
Dr. Michael Aguilera was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he was trained in providing primary eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, dry eye management, as well as treatment and management of various ocular diseases. As an undergraduate, he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is currently a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Aside from work, Dr. Aguilera enjoys attending sporting events, concerts, and exercising.

He was absolutely a delight and very good at what he does, I had an amazing experience. As well as with the receptionist very sweet and kind and the frames stylist as well they were a big help !

The office had everything I was looking for. I was happy to see they had a machine to scan my eyes for any issues as that was my primary concern. It is an up charge (which it would be everywhere) but very worth it for peace of mind.
Dr. Aguilera was very communicative, responsive and proved great feedback. His staff was also excellent. Very thorough visit!

Great office great work! I had insurance so the best lenses came out to just 140$
My only complaint is you have to wait awhile for them to come in but that has more to do with the lense manufacturing than anything and I’ve never been anywhere better.

Took my six year old to get her annual eye exam to Dr. Aguilar’s office. This was our first time there. It was a an overall wonderful experience. Each staff member we encountered were very helpful and patient with my little one. When we left, she even stated she loved going there for her exam. We will definitely be coming back each year for our exams!
