"Michael Christensen, B.S., O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, summa cum laude. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University. While in optometry school, Dr. Christensen completed a specialty contact lens internship and interned at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, where he routinely cared for patients with cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, and diabetes. Dr. Christensen received several scholarships and awards as a student, including an award for excellence in medically necessary contact lens fitting. Dr. Christensen and his wife Keala are excited to make their home in Broome County along with their three children, Albert and twins Sonny and Ada."
