Michael Fung is an experienced and thorough ophthalmologist and refractive surgeon specializing in cornea and external diseases in Philadelphia. Dr. Fung is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and he is a member of the Cornea Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Hospital as a clinical instructor and available to his patients at the Society Hill Ophthalmic Associates.
Dr. Fung attended the Thomas Jefferson University to complete his medical degree. He then participated in an ophthalmology residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Fung completed his postdoctoral training with a fellowship studying cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota. He invites patients to visit his office for services to treat and manage conditions such as cataracts, eye tumors, glaucoma, and eye infections. Dr. Fung provides services such as contact lenses, comprehensive dilated eye exams, and eye surgery consultations.
