Dr. Michael Cohen is a highly experienced and skilled physician who has been practicing at CareMount Medical since 1994. Dr. Cohen has a reputation of being one of the first doctors in the region to treat cataracts with minimally invasive surgery. He has received multiple distinctions by industry specialist, including Best Doctors in America (2013), Best Doctors in Westchester (2016) and Castle Connolly Top Doctors (2016). He attended New York University, and completed his residency and fellowship training at the Medical Retina and Laser Therapy at the New York University Medical Center. Dr. Cohen directed the out- patient ophthalmology service at Bellevue Hospital Center from 1985-1994.
