Able to return to the field post-operatively, Dr. Narvaez played football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was awarded a varsity monogram and graduated with honors. Following his experience as a patient and student-athlete, Dr. Narvaez made it his goal to become an orthopaedic surgeon so that he could provide the same care to his patients and give them the ability to return to the activities they love. A native of Ridgewood, NJ, Dr. Narvaez was introduced to living in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area while he completed his medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as administrative chief resident and was the winner of the 20th annual John R. Gregg Memorial Resident Bowl awarded by the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society. Following residency, Dr. Narvaez completed his fellowship in sports medicine at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA, where he participated in the care of high school, college, and professional athletes. While there, he served as an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Anaheim Ducks, LA Galaxy, and Los Angeles Sparks.
