“Dr NODLAND is the best optometrist I know. My entire family has been seen by him for many years now. He’s is beyond thorough during his exams, making you feel heard the entire time. He catches things others miss. I tend to ask a lot of questions and he will always answer in full detail. The optician at this practice is also wonderful, making sure I feel good and look good in what I am purchasing. On top of everything, dr Nodland pours his heart into this practice and I will recommend him to anyone I know! ”

About Dr. Michael Nodland
Dr. Michael J. Nodland grew up in Iowa before pursuing his education and professional training in South Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003 and continued his education at Nova Southeastern University, where he completed four years of advanced optometric training. During this time, he developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and hypertensive retinopathy. His training also included contact lenses, pediatric and geriatric eye care, low vision rehabilitation, and the diagnosis and treatment of eye emergencies.
In 2008, Dr. Nodland earned both his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University. Since then, he has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate eye care with an emphasis on preventive medicine, early disease detection, and personalized treatment plans. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes in taking the time to educate each patient so they can make informed decisions about their eye health.
Outside the office, Dr. Nodland has been happily married to his wonderful wife for more than 10 years, and together they are raising two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, creating new adventures together, and making the most of the Florida outdoors. Whether he's golfing, relaxing at the beach, working out, or exploring new places with his family, Dr. Nodland values an active lifestyle and brings that same energy and enthusiasm to caring for his patients.
