About Dr. Michael Rosner

Dr. Michael Rosner obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, before pursuing an optometry degree at Midwestern University, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class, and was presented the Dean's Award. Before joining For Your Eyes Only Optometric Center in 2018, he completed externships at the Tséhootsooí Medical Center and the Eye Foundation of Utah. Dr. Rosner is a member of the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and is Board Certified in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Disease. In addition to comprehensive eye care, Dr. Rosner has a focus in restoring visual function in patients with complex ocular surface disease, and myopia control. Dr. Rosner has gone through extensive training to be certified in fitting a variety of specialty contacts including scleral, hybrid, rigid gas permeable, orthokeratology, and custom soft lenses.
