About Dr. Michele Scherz
Dr. Michele Scherz has been working for Pearle Vision since the beginning of her career. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York. Dr. Scherz was employed by Pearle Vision from 1985 until 2005, after which she became a franchise owner. After 17 years of ownership, Dr. Scherz joined the Eye Health Group of NY and NJ.

I had a very frustrating experience with this office during what should have been a routine contact lens renewal.
My original appointment was cancelled and rescheduled a full month later, which was inconvenient but manageable. At the rescheduled visit, I clearly stated that I wanted to continue with the same contact lens brand I’ve worn for the past five years. Despite that, the doctor prescribed a different brand without explanation, apparently because the office does not carry my current lenses.
When I requested an updated prescription for the brand I’ve consistently used, the office refused to provide it. Instead of addressing my questions directly over email, they took two weeks to follow up by phone, and then suggested I schedule a second appointment — which would have required another copay.
Overall, the experience felt dismissive, poorly communicated, and unnecessarily complicated. I would not recommend this practice if you value transparency and patient-centered care

I had a very good experience with the office, the girls were friendly, kind ans sociable. They all had positive energy and I love when I go into a place and the energy is positive that's stood out to me. I was seen quickly. They gave me advice on which glasses looked nice on me and they didn't try to sell me the highest glasses or convince me to get something I didn't like. The hour and a half Drive was well worth it and this will be my new eye doctor's office. I definitely recommend this office.

I’ve now been coming to Pearle Vision for two years; the staff is always very professional, helpful, and friendly. And Dr. Scherz is always personable, professional, and timely! Plus, their location is easy to get to and has lots of parking.

mUpdated equipment that allowed prompt analysis, loved the retina scan without the need of dilating eye drops. Dr. Scherz was efficient and addressed my questions. Will be back next year!

Receptionist did even acknowledge i was there , she just kept doing whatever she was doing, not a good morning , not an eye check, nothing .
After appointment was confirmed over the phone , wasn’t checked up , cause insurance was not accepted ( they had the info , since booking)
