About Dr. Michelle Timko

Dr. Timko received her first bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and her second at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she later graduated with her Doctor of Optometry. She interned at Lankenau Medical Center for medical eye diseases and the Feinbloom Low Vision Center at Salus University for visually impaired individuals. She also completed a pediatric/vision therapy rotation at The Eye Institute, receiving high honors. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Timko has worked in a variety of corporate eye care centers around Somerville; however, her love for the area she grew up in fueled her longing to build closer relationships with her patients and provide more meaningful care. With this inspiration, Dr. Timko opened Insight Eyecare in 2018.
