About Dr. Milita Petrauskaite
Milita Petrauskaite, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2019 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014.
Dr. Petrauskaite specializes in ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye, as well as myopia control and contact lenses. She has always found joy in helping others. While in high school, she tutored students with ADHD and special needs.
During her time at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Petrauskaite worked in the Pathology Department of the Medicine Research College, where she contributed to cancer research. This passion to help others led her to the field of optometry, which she believes is the perfect environment to get to know her patients and find solutions for their unique eyecare needs.
In her free time, Dr. Petrauskaite enjoys learning about and practicing a healthy lifestyle, including dietary and fitness tips, tricks, and hacks. Additionally, she enjoys listening to educational and practical podcasts and reading new books. She also has a love for traveling and experiencing new cultures with her fianc?, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Everyone was so friendly, I had a a lot of fun chatting with some of the staff. Dr. Petrauskaite was also very kind and efficient. My eye exam was quick and she gave me detailed answers to all of my questions. 11/10 recommend!

Very friendly staff!!!! Professional and outgoing!!! They even helped me pick out my new glasses. I was about to cry because I have a hard time making sure I get the right frames as I don’t want to look old or odd. They were awesome.

Everyone was super friendly and communicated everything clearly to me. They guided me through the process of getting my first glasses, making sure I was perfectly happy with the choice I made before making the purchase. They were also super up front and transparent about costs and what my insurance would/wouldn't cover so that the total was not a surprise like it sometimes can be!

The office staff was prompt in receiving me and filling out the new patient forms. I was seen exactly at my appointment time and the provider was very kind, asked if I needed to address any other concerns. My appointment was quick and exactly what I needed. The office price matched Costco for my contacts, who is usually the cheapest. Excellent experience.

Ms. Petrauskite was quick and effective. She did things in a quick but thorough manner because she respected my time. But what made the experience truly satisfying and fun was David. He made quick adjustments to my glasses which made a huge difference. He didn't try to sell me new frames or spend unnecessarily. He was just all about great customer service and genuine human kindness. This experience was definitely a 10 because of him.

Jenna is a wonderful and friendly person with the customer service skills of a tenured employee. She greeted me as a first time patient and immediately put me at ease. It was like speaking with a friend and not an employee. She’s definitely an asset! Tom was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He walked me through each eye test, helped select my frames and didn’t even appear frustrated when he discovered after all of ghat, my insurance wouldn’t begin until October for the glasses! The eye doctor, manager and overall team did a fantastic job and as a new patient I can guarantee that I will be back for all of my vision needs. Thank you ALL for a wonderful appointment!
