About Dr. Mimi Duong
Mimi Duong, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston in 2016. Dr. Duong specializes in primary eye care and ocular disease. After working as a technician for her own optometrist before undergraduate school, she was inspired to begin her journey to become an optometrist. Being able to inform, educate, and improve her patients' quality of life by providing quality eye care is a passion of Dr. Duong. It is also rewarding when she can help her patients see their best. In her free time, Dr. Duong enjoys spending time with friends, practicing yoga and Pilates, attending live concerts, and traveling to new places.

Lousy. I have insurance. I recently moved from New Jersey and changed my insurance coverage area. It’s military TriCare insurance but the office clerk stated he couldn’t find the coverage. So, I paid full amount for glasses I needed. Will never use them again.
