About Dr. Monica Gonzales-Deliganis
Monica Gonzales-Deliganis, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston's College of Optometry in 1997 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Gonzales-Deliganis is fluent in Spanish and has spent over twenty years serving the Northwest Houston community.
As a child, she recalls putting on her father's glasses, which made everything blurry and distorted. She realized that only when he wore his glasses could he see as well as she could without them. That experience left a lasting impression and inspired her to help people see more clearly. Dr. Gonzales-Deliganis considers choosing optometry as her career one of the best decisions she has ever made.
Passionate about primary care optometry, she provides quality care to her patients and their families through thorough, comprehensive eye exams. She has extensive experience fitting contact lenses, including challenging cases involving astigmatism, presbyopia, and rigid gas-permeable lenses.
Dr. Gonzales-Deliganis especially values the relationships she has built with her patients over the years. Many who once came with their parents as children now attend appointments independently. She has been married to her husband for over twenty-five years, and together they are raising two boys and one very spoiled dog. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, crafting, and creating mixed-media art.

I had to reschedule my appt for a later time due to a schedule conflict with another appt but I was done earlier than expected. I drove to the office expecting to wait but they were able to see me immediately! Every single employee was friendly, accommodating, helpful, informative, and I picked out an awesome pair of new frames for my updated prescription. I love this location! It was also organized and clean.
