About Dr. Naba Sharif
Dr. Naba Sharif is an exceptionally trained board-certified Allergist and Immunologist whose expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of seasonal and environmental allergies, food allergies, skin conditions such as hives and eczema, and asthma. She received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and her medical degree with a Distinction in Research from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Hasbro Children’s Hospital of Brown University and became board-certified in Pediatrics. She went on to complete her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System where she trained in both adult and pediatric allergy and immunology.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Sharif then moved to the greater Washington DC area where she practiced both as a Pediatrician and as an Allergist-Immunologist at Kaiser Permanente, and worked in an allergy and immunology private practice for eight years. While there, she precepted students at Georgetown Medical School and was voted by her colleagues as a prestigious Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine from 2016-2020.
Dr. Sharif was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology – the specialty’s premier national organizations. She serves on several committees of the Academy to advance the specialty of allergy and immunology. She has presented her research at numerous national and international meetings and has published several scientific articles in medical journals. Outside of work, she is passionate about community service, health education and empowerment, as well as advocacy for the underprivileged.

Dr. Sharif was the most attentive listener and took the time to think through my specific conditions with me. She explained everything in a clear concise manner and is assisting me in correcting an issue that I’ve been dealing with for almost a decade. After seeing many other medical professionals over the last ten years and being essentially dismissed, Dr. Sharif may have analyzed, diagnosed, and solved an issue that over a dozen doctors could not! She is the absolute best and I can’t recommend or thank her enough!

I live atleast a hour away and It was well worth it! I filled my paperwork out online with the link provided in my text messages I only had to fill out 2 or 3 forms when I got in there and after I handed them in I was sent back to the room within 5 minutes
Everyone is so nice, friendly and the doctor took her time to handle all concerns

The front desk that took my information was extremely unpleasant and rude. She had completely killed my experience here and is greatly responsible for my low review. In addition, the wait time was around 40-50 minutes and the doctor came in extremely late.
Nonetheless, the head nurse was very friendly and helpful, making sure to explain properly and listen carefully. The doctor was helpful and informative, but she seemed like she was rushing, and eager to quickly go through the steps. Mostly, the doctor was okay; just unfortunate she was very late to the appointment.
Overall, the doctor was okay but extremely late and rushed, nurse was excellent, but front desk’s rude attitude while taking my information before and after the appointment absolutely ruined my day.

Dr. Sharif was great! It set my mind at ease that she knew exactly what I was dealing with right away. she was very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. She came up with a plan and was clear about what to expect and why. When there was a sudden change in my condition, she went out of her way to accommodate seeing me the next day! I Highly Recommend Dr. Naba Sharif.

What a wonderful experience! I had to bring my daughter to the appointment last minute (she is one). The staff was incredibly kind, patient and even helped to keep her busy while I had my arm pricked and completed the breath test.
Instructions were clearly explained and the doctor took her time to answer questions and recommend a doctor for a separate issue. I would recommend this office to anyone!

nice staff and friendly office. The only thing to be aware of is forms. please make sure to use online forms patients fill in prior to their visit. I had to fill the form twice, online and then in person.
