Dr. Nastaran Safdarian joined North Texas Allergy and Asthma Associates in 2011. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2001 cum laude with a degree in Biology. She went on to complete medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. After medical school, she trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for three years with an emphasis on Women's Health. Dr. Safdarian completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Safdarian is happy to be accepting new patients (both pediatric and adult) and appointments are available within the same week. Her areas of interest include asthma, nasal and eye allergies, eczema, hives, and sinus disease. She is also skilled in the areas of eosinophilic esophagitis, angioedema, drug allergy, and recurrent infections.
