Thereafter, she completed her residency/faculty position at The Eye Institute, specializing in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. She received America's Top Optometrists Award in 2016. She received the Walmart Optometrist Excellence in Patient Care of the year 2023 for the Market 217. Dr. Patel specializes in ocular disease and pediatrics. She has special interest in various areas of eyecare, including glaucoma and dry eye diagnosis and management, retinal diseases and amblyopia treatment and management. She has previously worked in private practice and an ophthalmology office. Dr. Neelam Patel, is active in community services including AAPIO, Santram, BAPS and other vision screenings.
