After completing a transitional internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Varshney went on to complete ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and research studies that have been presented at various annual meetings of national ophthalmological organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Retina Society. She is also fluent in Spanish.
