About Dr. Nichole Butler-Mooyoung
Dr. Nichole Butler-MooYoung is a senior obstetrician gynecologist who has chosen to join the Women’s Center here at Pipeline-Weiss Hospital. Dr. Butler completed her undergraduate education at Howard University before entering medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago campus. She completed the program and then matriculated to Rush University Medical Center to complete the obstetrics and gynecology residency program. She graduated with distinction in June of 2000 as a benign obstetrician gynecologist. She has been an active participant in the care of women since her graduation, primarily as a private practitioner in a smaller group practice. Most recently she has been part of the DuPage Medical Group, affiliated with both Palos Community Hospital and Advocate Christ Medical Center.
Dr. Butler is a seasoned clinician that has been a strong advocate for advancing the gynecological care of women during their reproductive years and beyond. She prides herself in advancing her clinical and surgical skills in parallel with the division of obstetrics and gynecology. She is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an aggressive minimally invasive surgeon with great diagnostic skills who knows how to communicate with a diverse patient population. Dr. Butler’s special interests include fibroids, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. In addition she is focused on helping her patients become breast aware and understanding the importance of wellness examinations. She has been involved in the educational program at Advocate Christ Medical Center for over 15 years, and now she looks forward to continuing to educate, not only the residents in training at Weiss, but also the community at large.

Everyone was so kind and friendly! From the front desk to the Dr. I was super nervous and they didn’t made me feel any type of way. I got there earlier and everything was pretty quick. At the end of the day, I learned that I had 0 reasons to be nervous at all.

Because this office is in a hospital, the hospital charged for a hospital room that was not covered by insurance (the general exam was fully covered). The doctor did say something a bit wild during my exam which could rub people the wrong way and wasn't very professional.
