About Dr. Nicole Fischer
(Formerly Dr. Tilin)
Dr. Fischer completed her Optometry Degree and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She graduated with Honors, was a member of the International Optometric Honor Society (Beta Sigma Kappa), and received the Low Vision Award of Excellence. From Toronto, Ontario, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, Magna Cum Laude with Honors.
Dr. Fischer has extensive training in ocular disease from Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami and Aker Kasten Eye Center in Boca Raton, and rotated through externships in primary care, low vision rehabilitation, cornea and contact lens, and pediatrics with an emphasis in autism.
Dr. Fischer takes a holistic approach to patient-care and is passionate about managing a variety of ocular conditions including dry eyes, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and more. Outside of work, Dr. Fischer loves to stay active. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.

Every step of this appointment, from booking it online to speaking to the receptionist on the phone to being seen in the office, was a breeze, handled with clarity and ease. They made sure I was correctly assessed for some particular issues I'd been having with dry-eye and redness, and I left with a clear treatment plan and a follow-up appointment on the books. The optometrist also took the time to answer some questions I had about laser vision correction and other procedures I was curious about.

I found my interaction w/ Dr. Tilin authentic and unrushed. She showed care throughout the examination and was attentive to my eye condition and history. She was also very patient in explaining my vision issue. I highly recommend her and plan to go back to follow-up. :]

My experience with Dr. Tilin was exceptional! I made the appointment because I had a sudden onset of some visual disturbances in my peripheral vision. She listened closely to me to get a detailed understanding of my symptoms and took the situation very seriously. She did a thorough examination and ran a number of tests. She referred me out for further tests which all came back normal but I appreciated her cautiousness. She's been very proactive in following up and has a very kind and caring demeanor. I highly recommend her!
