Nilesh M. Sheth, MD, is a highly skilled LASIK surgeon who has helped more than 13,000 patients, including United States Senator Scott Brown, Boston Celtics great Jo Jo White, NECN sportscaster Chris Collins and John Fiore, star of Law & Order and The Sopranos, reduce or eliminate their dependency on glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Sheth earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State Medical School, graduating with honors. He completed his internship at the Detroit Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency, where he was Chief Resident, at Summa Health System, an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Sheth received further training by completing a two-year accredited fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Louisiana State University, the site of the first laser vision correction procedure in the United States.
Dr. Sheth is a respected leader and educator in his field, and is currently a staff member at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, a teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School.
