Dr. Sheth earned his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University, completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Summa Health System, and pursued a fellowship in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University. Dr. Sheth performs more laser vision correction procedures than any other surgeon in New England. He has extensive experience in LASIK and other refractive surgeries, including Conductive Keratoplasty (CK), a newer procedure for loss of reading ability in middle age. He is also trained and experienced in glaucoma care, including new laser treatments for glaucoma. Having performed over 25,000 laser vision correction procedures, Dr. Sheth is nationally recognized as one of the most experienced VISX surgeons, according to the manufacturer's figures. Dr. Sheth has performed surgery on Boston Celtics legend Jo Jo White and, most recently, actor John Fiore, known for his roles on Law & Order and The Sopranos (as Gigi Cestone, who died in season three).
