About Dr. Nina Farivari
Dr. Nina Farivari is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Farivari graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and subsequently graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in General Surgery and residency in Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Following her training, Dr. Farivari practiced at the Veterans Affairs Hospital while also serving as a Clinical Instructor for Ophthalmology residents. She has trained residents from multiple academic institutions in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Farivari is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She is currently seeing patients in the Sudbury, Lexington, and Westford offices.

needed to find an ophthalmologist, they took my insurance and are only two towns over from my home 8miles. looking forward to going back. all seemed very efficient this time.. the Dr. was easy to converse with, and the tech seemed most to thorough.

The front office staff were polite. I really liked Dr. Farivari. She reviewed my exam, explained about cataract surgery, and how arrangements will be made with her office. All the tests on my eyes were done by a woman who never introduced herself or said what her role was in the practice. She was very uncommunicative and abrupt in he dealings with me. I didn't know she wasn't Dr. Farivari until the doctor came in and introduce herself. Overall it was strange appointment. I trust the cataract surgery will be untaken by Dr. Farivari herself. I now know I need to ask many more questions!
