I had a very disappointing experience. I sought care for severe, lifelong allergies that have required surgeries and still affect me on a weekly basis. Despite clearly explaining this history, my symptoms were dismissed as merely “seasonal,” which felt both inaccurate and minimizing. I was hoping for a thoughtful evaluation and a treatment plan to improve my quality of life, but instead felt judged rather than supported.
Additionally, neither the provider nor the office informed me in advance that allergy medications needed to be stopped prior to testing. For someone who suffers from daily allergy symptoms, this is critical information and should be communicated clearly ahead of time. Due to the dismissive approach and lack of proper communication, I will not be returning and would not recommend this practice to others seeking comprehensive allergy care.

I had an excellent experience overall. The staff and doctor were not only friendly but also highly professional. Parking was convenient, located right across from the building. Everything went smoothly, and the doctor thoroughly explained all the important information I needed to know.

The doctor was nice and did a thorough intake, but they seem to have dishonest billing practices. Typically, in a doctor’s office, someone runs your insurance before you’re seen and they let you know how much you will be paying for the visit. Here I was told that I had to call my insurance provider to see if they would cover the services (even though they were in network). I’ve never had to do that. Before I agreed to go through with my allergy testing, I spoke with the front desk clerk about billing and she said they do services first and then contact insurance which I’ve never heard of. I said I wanted to wait for my insurance authorization before I do any procedures. The receptionist said they would call me when they hear back from insurance. That was a month ago, and I haven’t heard back, so that tells me all I need to know.

After living more than 10 years in the US, no other doctor had dedicated so much time and attention to my needs. She was excellent. And her staff is incredibly kind and respectful. Insurance coverage is not very clear though. Would definitely recommend Dr. Rohatgi. Amazing bedside manner.
