Dr. Maina is a Fellow in the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and has served in several areas including the Leadership Committee, the Population Health Committee, and Infectious Diseases & International Travel Committee. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and was a member of the Committee on the Underserved. During her time in Alabama, Dr. Maina served as an allergist at the Birmingham Veterans Administration and was a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Maina has been in practice in Birmingham, Alabama since 2018. She joined Atlanta Allergy & Asthma in early 2023 and will see patients in the Douglasville office. Dr. Maina, along with her husband and children, live in Douglasville, GA.
