About Dr. Oscar Leis

Dr. Oscar Leis is a member of Metropolitan Vision Correction Associates and focuses on comprehensive eye care to address patients’ visual needs, including but not limited to contact lens correction.
Dr. Leis earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, SUNY College of Optometry, in 2015. He then completed a residency in ocular disease at the VA Boston Health Care System through the New England College of Optometry. During his residency, Dr. Leis concentrated on the treatment and management of various ocular diseases, including but not limited to glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, neurological disorders, and other conditions. He has presented several ocular disease posters at Academy meetings.
Dr. Leis is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. He currently lives on Long Island and speaks Spanish fluently.
