About Dr. Osina Lutz

Dr. Osina Lutz is a board-eligible obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center, where she received comprehensive training in both routine and complex women’s health care.
Dr. Lutz earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) in Long Island, where she developed a strong foundation in holistic, evidence-based medicine.
Originally from Germany, Dr. Lutz moved to New York after high school and brings a multicultural perspective to her practice. She is committed to building trusting relationships with her patients and helping women make informed decisions about their health through all stages of life.
Her clinical interests include preventative care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, prenatal and postpartum care.

The visit itself was great and I liked the doctor, but when it came time for filling my prescription they were being unresponsive with my pharmacy. When I reached out to the office for help, they were really rude and told me to message them on the client portal. In my head I’m thinking sorry for bothering you at your job…I told them this was urgent as at that point I was two days without my medication. I didn’t appreciate their lack of urgency when helping me refill my prescription and not responding to my pharmacy for days, and then dismissing me when I tried to call twice for help.

It was not a good experience. The doctor was unable to treat my condition effectively, further infection spread, took a long time to get my clinical summary uploaded, and was difficult to get a hold of provider the day after my procedure to discuss complications.

I always dread going to any doctor but this was a very easy and safe experience with Dr Lutz. She was very attentive and took the time to clarify everything she was doing and answer all the questions I had that.

I had avoided going to an OBGYN appointment for a long time because it can be hard to know what your experience with someone new will be. Dr. Lutz was so wonderful and understanding of that, and made a great effort to make me feel comfortable. Will definitely stick with her.

Had an amazing annual gyno visit with Dr. Lutz! She was incredibly helpful explaining everything and patient with all my questions. The staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and as well as everyone else I interacted with at the office! Highly recommend Pure OBGYN, especially the Flatiron location given the stellar staff. As someone who hasn't always enjoyed their required visits to the gyno, this one was fantastic and I will be happy to come back.

I booked with zocdoc because my GYN at big hospital was not available right away. That was very fortunate of me because Dr Osina Lutz was awesome and fantastic. She was a good listener and professional, and made me so comfortable while I was relaying my problems. she solved my annoying problems too. Yes I will definitely go back and from now on she’s my regular GYN and the office was clean and the step was very professional and efficient and sweet.

Dr. Lutz was great, took good notes and helped provide clear advice for the medical things I had questions about. The MAs were also professional, efficient, and polite. The front desk ladies were a bit soft spoken in an open office layout, so it was difficult was hearing them during check-in, but I appreciate that they didn't want to yell my personal information to the entire wait area. I like seeing DO for women's health because so many things can be connected to your reproductive organs and hormones that it seems better to have yourself evaluated as a holistic WOMAN, instead of just "this pill has side effects" or "have you considered losing weight."

Very pleasant experience from the moment I walked in to the end of my new patient exam. Didn’t see doctor I booked appointment with but saw another and she was excellent.
