About Dr. Padmini Nathan

Nathan Padmavi, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1982. She earned her Bachelor of Science from St. Francis College in Hyderabad, India, graduating in 1978. Inspired from an early age by a strong desire to pursue a career in healthcare, Dr. Nathan discovered her calling in optometry during her teenage years. Though she initially dreamed of becoming a doctor, she realized that traditional medical paths involving surgery or blood weren't a fit. Optometry offered her a perfect balance — allowing her to help others while embracing her passion for health, vision, and education. With a special interest in Pediatric Eye Care and Medical Optometry, Dr. Nathan has devoted her career to improving patients’ vision and overall well-being. She is passionate about the early detection of visual and systemic health issues and takes pride in educating patients not only about their eyes but their general health. Outside the office, Dr. Nathan enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, biking, and listening to country music.
