“Dr. Parisa and her crew of technicians are wonderful. The waiting area and office size itself is small, but that is easily made up for by the attention to care and technology (no dilation needed, eye MRIs... you name it, they probably have it). Dr. Parisa took her time to review every eye concern with an excellent ability to convey technical medical terms simply. It was honestly a delightful appointment which is not something many people can or say about a yearly screening. I will absolutely be returning and am excited to have impeccable eyec are moving forward! ”

Dr. Parisa Jalalat is a board-certified optometrist in Los Angeles, CA. She takes an integrative approach to eye care, focused on the individual needs of each patient. Dr. Parisa is dedicated to modernizing the eyecare experience by implementing cutting-edge technologies and techniques into practice at Beverly Hills Optometry, especially when treating ocular surface diseases like dry eye syndrome. Her experience in running FDA clinical trials in dry eye and demodex blepharitis treatments, co-authoring a peer-reviewed journal publication, presenting research at academy conferences, and speaking engagements have enhanced her ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the eyecare field. Dr. Parisa grew up in Houston, Texas, and received her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Texas in Austin. She received an additional B.S. in Vision Science and a Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University - College of Optometry (NSUCO) in south Florida. She enjoys giving back to the community and has provided voluntary eye care overseas in an underserved demographic in the Dominican Republic.
