About Dr. Parisa Lamei

Dr. Parisa Lamei received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Having lived in Austin for the past 35 years, Dr. Lamei has always emphasized total patient care. Her philosophy is that patients need to spend most of their time in the office with the doctor to feel comfortable discussing any medical issues and concerns they have. She is keen on maintaining well-anticipated schedules and ensuring an adequate number of staff are available in the office. Her staff are extremely important to her, and she takes pride in having had the privilege of working with some of them for the past 15 years.

The doctor listened to the issue I had been experiencing for years (and had shared with previous doctors) and resolved it! I have been a patient of Dr Lamei’s for more than 20 years. She’s simply the best optometrist you will ever find. Even though I moved to Northwest Hills 9 years ago, I still drive south to her practice and would go even farther if I had to.
