About Dr. Paul Montague

Dr. Montague has over 20 years of experience, providing compassionate eye care as a Therapeutic Optometrist. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Hartford in 2000 and received his Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004. His clinical training included a pediatric rotation at The Eye Institute of Philadelphia and a hospital rotation at San Antonio’s Wilford Hall Medical Center, the Air Force’s largest hospital. Certified to treat glaucoma, he also has specialties in pediatrics and contact lenses. Dr. Montague has been very active in community service throughout the years, which includes volunteering in Luxottica’s gift of sight program, the Pennsylvania Special Olympics, Optometric Service to Humanity Organization, and fundraising for the MS foundation. In 2025, Dr. Montague, whose patients affectionately call “Dr. Paul”, purchased the Crystal Vision Center in Hazleton. As downtown Hazleton’s neighborhood eye doctor, Dr. Paul strives to have an office that is fully accessible to this diverse community. In addition to Crystal Vision’s bilingual staff, Dr. Paul performs most of his examinations at Crystal Vision Center in Spanish. Dr. Paul also owns Quentin Vision Specialists, an Eye Care Practice in Lebanon, PA. A native of Texas, Dr. Montague now resides in Conyngham, Pennsylvania with his wife Jonelle and daughter Liliana.
