Dr. Phillip J. Duran has been a Kopolow-Girisgen Associate Optometrist in Las Vegas for 9 years. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University. After optometry school, Dr. Duran completed a clinical residency in Low Vision and Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the Major Charles Robert Soltes Jr. Blind Rehabilitation Center at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System in California. This place was so so wonderful and the optometrist was amazing. Even upon entering, the staff were all incredibly friendly and greeted me before checking me in. During the eye exam the assistant explained what he was going to do before every procedure. and the doctor was amazing at conversation and seemed to genuinely love his job. All of the staff did! They were very patient with me when I was picking my frames. Definitely making this my primary optometrist!

I’m new in town and was due for my yearly eye exam. I have a complicated history with my eyes, so I’m always nervous going to eye appointments. The staff here absolutely put me at ease right away, from the front desk staff, to the optician/tech, to Dr. Duran. You could not imagine nicer people. Dr. Duran really, really took the time to explain everything to me in depth and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Very relieved to have found my go-to Optometrist’s office :)
