About Dr. Po Fong
Please note that for Dr. Fong, the delivery hospital is NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital at 170 William Street. Dr. Fong's office does not facilitate transfers to NYP WCM Alexandra Cohen Hospital unless it is for medical reasons deemed necessary by your physician.
Dr. Fong will only see patients who are at least 7 weeks into their pregnancy and will reschedule any patient if applicable. Once you have booked your appointment with Dr. Fong, you will receive either a phone call or email from the office to go over a few important details needed prior to your appointment.
Dr. Po Ching Fong received her undergraduate degree from City University of New York, City College. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York in 1999 and has been practicing as a general Ob/Gyn in New York City since then. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Please note that Dr. Fong has hospital privileges at NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital (located at 170 William St, New York, NY 10038), where the delivery of your baby will take place. Again, Dr. Fong's office does not facilitate transfers to NYP WCM Alexandra Cohen Hospital unless medically necessary as determined by your physician.

Dr Fong has a great bedside manner and we felt very at ease. I definitely plan on seeing her again.
We had to wait about 40 min for our appointment, but I got the sense that was unusual, as everyone kept apologizing for the wait

Dr. Fong has great bedside manner – I’m very anxious about my pregnancy, and she made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. She offered to meet with me more regularly if that helps ease my mind, and she spent extra time with me to make sure I understood everything.
