About Dr. Priya Patel

Dr. Patel graduated medical school at Stony Brook University and completed her residency in OB/GYN at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Public Health at Columbia University and her BS at Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. Dr. Patel continued her training in Pennsylvania as a fellow in minimally invasive gynecological procedures and has published multiple research articles. Prior to joining The Rubino OB/GYN Group, she was an instructor at PSoM of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Patel specializes in non-invasive alternatives to surgery. She speaks Gujarati and medical/conversational Spanish. She is committed to building relationships with her patients and helping them find a solution to their medical issues.

This woman is not interested in partnering with you about your health issues. It’s purely a business transaction for her. If you reply to her questions with information that she does not want to hear be ready to receive her wrath. I’m never going to see her again. I gave her 3 appointments and the benefit of the doubt. We all have bad days, right? No, she’s not going to ever be the empathetic compassionate medical provider that I want.
Do not waste your time with her unless you want to be treated with little respect.

Highly disappointed, doctor lacked empathy . I was devastated after the appointment the way she responded to my new medical condition stating that my test reports were pathetic and amidst this corona virus situation we are already going through lot of stress above that if you are treated this way , I cried whole evening after my return from office visit . We prefer our doctor to be cordial and definitely be empathetic towards patient for reassurance and their wellbeing .

I have been with Rubino OBGYN for many years and this was my first time visiting the Clark office with Dr. Patel. The wait time at the Clark office was significantly shorter than the Summit or West Orange offices. Dr. Patel was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions.

Read all reviews carefully before seeing this doctor. The unfavorable ones are completely accurate. Seeing this doctor for the 3rd year in a row I was greeted with "Have we met before?". She seemed oblivious to my family history of breast cancer and did not indicate it on the mammogram prescription. I got biopsy results from radiology within a few days and it took her 2 weeks to call me back. I was twice charged for services that were never rendered. As stated in other reviews she has predefined responses and will not take your own intuition or information into consideration.

Dr. Patel is very educated and in tune with her patients. She has delivered 2 of my children over the past 4 years.
All of my needs before, during, and after pregnancy hand been met. I have recommended her to a couple of friends who are very happy, as well.
