About Dr. Randolph Galang

Dr. Randy Galang is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for helping patients achieve better vision. Born and raised in Elk Grove, CA, Dr. Galang is a proud father of two wonderful daughters and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family, particularly cheering on his kids at weekend sporting events. He earned his Biology degree from the University of San Francisco before obtaining his Doctor of Optometry from Salus University (formerly the Pennsylvania College of Optometry). He practices at the Folsom and Merced locations, where he brings his expertise and enthusiasm for eye care to every patient. When he's not improving vision, Dr. Galang stays active by playing volleyball with his college friends and is considering starting family pickleball outings every other weekend. His favorite aspect of being an optometrist is the ability to make a positive difference in his patients' lives by helping them see the world more clearly!
