Dr. Kaur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences, where she honed her skills through prestigious clinical rotations at the Veteran’s Hospitals in New Jersey and Connecticut, the Eye Laser & Surgical Center in Bakersfield, CA, and a Neuro-optometry clinic in Nashua, New Hampshire. To further refine her expertise, Dr. Kaur completed a competitive residency in primary care and ocular disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, as well as an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Texas Optometric Association (TOA). Originally from California, Dr. Kaur has embraced Austin as her home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring local vegetarian cuisine, traveling, and immersing herself in outdoor activities.
