About Dr. Raphael Guichard
Dr. Raphael Guichard is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist. He is fluent in English, French, Creole and Spanish. His special interests include obstetrics, urogynecology and minimally invasive surgeries.
Dr. Guichard graduated from the University of Miami where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology. After finishing medical school, Dr. Guichard completed his residency at Bayfront Medical Center where he was chosen as administrative chief resident. He was acknowledged with many awards including Resident Teacher of the Year, Maternal Fetal Medicine Award and Resident of the Year.
Raphael is married to his beautiful wife Mahalia and they have two daughters, Ahmani and Chiara. His special interests include his family, tennis, traveling and going to the movies.

I would strongly caution anyone using Women’s Care to scrutinize every bill, keep meticulous records, & document every communication.
I left Women’s Care during my first pregnancy in 2023 bc of ongoing issues w/professionalism & responsiveness. At my final appt, their billing coordinator told me my account was current. Weeks later, I rec’d a VM saying I owed a balance. I called, left messages, and sent 8+ emails asking for an explanation. No response.
Three yrs later, I learned this unexplained balance had somehow grown substantially.
During my current pregnancy, I made an appt w/ Dr. Guichard, who came highly recommended. This review is NOT about him; I was never allowed to see him.
The new office reviewed my account, found multiple billing issues, & significantly reduced the balance within hours. I was then denied my 1st prenatal visit at age 41 over a balance Women’s Care itself could not accurately calculate.
My confidence in their billing, transparency, & integrity is NONEXISTENT.

He was very professional and definitely made me feel comfortable to see a male doctor. I don’t usually have a preference, but it’s always good to feel at ease when it comes to these types of appointments. Dr listened to my questions and answered them thoroughly.
The nurse said I looked younger than my age and the doctor was easy on the eyes. What more could you ask for!?!

Wonderful office! Everyone is so kind, polite, helpful, compassionate and professional. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile, the receptionists are so nice and helpful! From the nurses, to Terrie the sonogram tech, each person is so wonderful, so kind and tries to help with whatever you ask or need! Dr. Guichard is amazing!!! He explains everything he is doing, genuinely cares about patient, takes his time, is incredibly compassionate, caring and is very thorough! I am so happy this office was recommended to me, I feel so safe and well taken care of here! I highly recommend this office and will do so to all my friends!!! l
