Dr. Ray Feaster is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a passion for community health and wellness. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Furman University before completing her medical degree and Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Dr. Feaster has been with Novant Health since 2008, where she has held several leadership roles, including Medical Director for Inpatient Physicians, Chair of Hospital Medicine at Presbyterian Medical Center, member of the SPR Medical Board, and Submarket Physician Leader for Center City and Mint Hill.
Currently, she practices internal medicine at First Charlotte Physicians Elizabeth and serves as the Physician Liaison for the Charlotte Market under the Office of Health Equity and Community Health. Dr. Feaster also contributes to the advancement of equity initiatives through her roles on the Charlotte Community Health Clinic Board and the Community Building Initiative Board of Directors.
Her community engagement extends beyond healthcare as she served for nine years as treasurer for the Seversville Community Organization Board. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Feaster is an active church member, volunteer, and mentor. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to take control of their health, which is a central tenet of her practice philosophy.
