About Dr. Richard Bochner

Dr. Richard Bochner has been in orthopedic practice in Nassau County for 30 years. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He completed both his residency and fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Bochner has served as Chief of Sports Medicine and Total Joint Replacement in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Queens Hospital Center. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at North Shore LIJ and at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. His clinical interests include general orthopedic surgery with a focus on sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, arthritis care, basic fracture care, total knee replacement, and total hip replacement.
