About Dr. Richard Koty

Please note that this provider only sees Pediatric patients. Richard Koty, MD, is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University. He completed his internship at West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center and his fellowship at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Koty serves as a special consultant to the Developmental Disabilities Center in Manhattan and to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at several area hospitals. He is a surgical delegate with the Healing the Children Foundation and has participated in medical missions to underprivileged areas worldwide. Currently, Dr. Koty is the Assistant Director of the Pediatric Ophthalmology Service at Mt. Sinai West. His special interests include childhood and adult strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity, and nystagmus.
