About Dr. Richard Pare'

Dr. Richard Par? is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery as well as comprehensive eye care. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Par? earned his Doctor of Medicine and residency in ophthalmology at Emory University. He has been in practice at the North Fulton Eye Center for 25 years, performing thousands of cataract surgeries on patients in the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Cumming areas. He is well versed in advanced intraocular lens technologies for cataract surgery, including toric (astigmatism-correcting), multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses. Dr. Par? offers femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and Microincisional Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) for those who are candidates. He enjoys counseling his patients on the best surgical options for their lifestyle. Additionally, Dr. Par? provides comprehensive eye care for patients with common eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and many others. Dr. Par? is currently on staff at Northside Hospital and previously served as the Section Chief of Ophthalmology for North Fulton Regional Hospital for several years. Patients often comment on his friendly and upbeat bedside manner and the way he takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatments clearly. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, and the Medical Association of Georgia.
