Dr. Sims is a member of Michigan Optometric Association and a member of American Optometric Association since 1985. He is also a member of Michigan Laser Eye Association since 1999. Dr. Sims is married to his wife Carolyn, who is the Business Manager at Professional Eyecare Centers. They have three supportive children: Austin, Kyle and Derek. In Dr. Sim's free time he enjoys golfing, boating, basketball, and spending time with his family.
