About Dr. Rick Cherry

Rick A. Cherry, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University and his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Toledo. Specializing in contact lens and glaucoma management, Dr. Cherry finds it rewarding to be an optometrist and improve patients' quality of life. From 1991 to 2002, he taught clinical procedures, contact lenses, and ocular anatomy courses at Owens Community College. He is now a doctor with The Lifetime Commitment Program (TLC), providing pre-op care for patients undergoing LASIK. Dr. Cherry has served on the board of directors at Members Capital Credit Union since 1990 and has been its president since 1998. He currently chairs the Sun Federal Credit Union Advisory Board. When not treating patients, Dr. Cherry enjoys gardening, golfing, traveling, attending the theatre, and following The Ohio State Buckeyes. He and his son live in Oregon, Ohio.
