About Dr. Robert Borzio

Robert Borzio, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in computer-navigated, minimally invasive anterior approach total hip and knee replacements and revisions. He also provides general orthopedic care and treatment of fractures in the upper and lower extremities, demonstrating his commitment to improving patients’ lives at Orthocenter, which has three locations in Red Bank, Morganville, and Holmdel, New Jersey. Dr. Borzio grew up in the Middletown area and earned his medical degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, where he graduated in the first quintile with the distinction of acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He further specialized in hip and knee replacement through a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery at New York University and the Insall Scott Kelly® Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Borzio is dedicated to advancing the field of orthopedic surgery. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and has published research in several well-regarded journals, including the Journal of Orthopaedic Research and International Orthopaedics.
