“The Optometrist was great, but he needs to replace some of his staff, not all but some. Not only did I have an unpleasant experience, but while I was there I heard not one but 2 other people who were having problems at the same dam time with other staff!!!!! I was appalled!!!! But it also let me know it wasn’t me, this is how they talk to and must be allowed to treat their customers!!!”

About Dr. Robert Fullenwider
Dr. Robert Fullenwider earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2020. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2016.
The eyes have always fascinated Dr. Fullenwider, and his special field of interest is contact lenses. He enjoys problem-solving and helping people, and optometry is the perfect career to do both.

They were thorough, patient, and explained every step of the process in a way that made me feel completely at ease. The exam was efficient yet very detailed, and I left feeling confident about my prescription and my eye health. We tried three other places and my teen kid wasn’t able to get the contacts in and out. Here they really took their time and made it low on pressure and he did it no problem.

The doctor assistant was very nice and knowledgeable, she guided me through the first exam tests and suggested a couple additional items such as eye drops and another test to see the ocular nerve and behind eye camera view which was neat and why not I’m there (first exam in 10 years, I don’t wear glasses but wanted a check up since I’m getting older). The doctor was great too, nice and easy to talk to. Great staff.

The doctor was amazing, got us in quickly, was attentive to my kid's needs. He was patient and an amazing communicator, letting me know the discrepancies in past eye exams and how he would fix the issue. If he accepted my insurance, he would be my eye doctor for sure!

Great team of staff who were professional, compassionate and gentle with the child I took to the appointment. Dr. Fullenwider did a comprehensive eye exam and made the child feel comfortable and allowed her to take a picture with him which was very kind. They made her first experience seeing an optometrist pleasant.
