About Dr. Robert Love

Robert Love is an optometric physician practicing in Lake Mary, Florida with over 20 years of experience. He received his degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998. He then went on to train at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) where he completed a Residency specializing in binocular vision disorders and neuro-ophthalmological disorders of the eye. After his Residency, he was hired as a clinical instructor at NSU. During this time, he taught clinical skills at the university and worked to complete the requirements necessary to be awarded a fellowship into the American Academy of Optometry. More recently, Dr. Love has become a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Diplomates must maintain high standards including more than double the amount of continuing education and frequent knowledge-based assessments. Dr. Love enjoys helping patients with common visual conditions such as Dry Eye Disease, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataracts, Neurological Diseases of the eye, and many other conditions. During his training, he spent time at the Baltimore, VA working alongside several Glaucoma Specialists. He also spent time in West Palm Beach with a Neuro-Ophthalmologist. His training also included time in Salt Lake City at a private office specializing in ocular diseases of the eye. After he stopped working at the university, he started working at Lake Mary Eye Care and did part-time work in an ocular disease clinic. He now works full-time at Lake Mary Eye Clinic. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and dog. Dr. Love enjoys the beach, biking, and many sports.
