Dr. Rubino's interest in highly skilled, office-based treatments to improve the lives of women has been the driving force behind the practice. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospital, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Under his direction, The Rubino OB/GYN Group has become known as the premier OB/GYN practice in Northern and Central New Jersey for advanced outpatient, minimally invasive procedures, including Her Option? Cryoablation Therapy to eliminate heavy, painful periods, the Essure? sterilization procedure, and the PapSure test.

The doctor himself was very nice and seemed to take his time with answering my questions and concerns except after he was paged by the hospital. When he returned he was a bit distracted. I can understand that. Aside from those moments I didn’t feel rushed. His front desk staff don’t seem to be on the same page. When my appointment was confirmed they gave me certain instructions: What to bring, who could accompany me etc. When I arrived I was told those instructions weren’t valid and was given a new set of instructions: didn’t need my ID, significant other could not wait in waiting room, etc. I also had to fill out additional paperwork online after already filling out a Zocdoc paperwork. Time consuming. Doc was really great, front office was not very warm and inconsistent and onboarding paperwork was annoying but I think that’s many places

Dr Rubino is an excellent doctor who takes his time to explain things and answer questions. Everyone else I interacted with at the office was great as well. They were all friendly and good at their job from the front desk checking me in and scheduling my next appointment to the nurse who took my blood. Great doctor and great staff.

The office was very clean. I did not have to wait forever in the waiting room. I am happy I can get my tests done in the office. I feel that Dr. Rubino really wants to work with me to help find a solution to my issues. Sally- who escorted me to the patient room, took my weight, blood pressure and took my blood was the sweetest lady. I am super thrilled he was able to get blood on the first try because I have tiny veins.

I really like Dr. Rubino/this office. When I first moved to this area, I went to a different doctor in Jersey City and it was absolute chaos, so I was really happy to find Dr. Rubinos office in Bayonne. It’s small and quiet, and everyone is really nice. I’ve never had to wait long and everything seems to run smoothly. Dr. Rubino is very nice, down to earth and easy to talk to.
